Creo recordar que iba de excursión desde mi alojamiento en Oviedo y creo que mi destino del día era Ribadeo, pero por el camino, la carretera que escogí, pasa por Luarca.
En principio mi idea era pasar de largo y seguir con mi ruta, pero en lo alto la carretera dispone de unos excelentes miradores donde se ve toda la ciudad incluyendo su puerto y playas.
No tuve mas remedio que pararme a observar las magnificas vistas y me entretuve unos pocos minutos en fotografiarlas
Poco mas puedo contaros de esta ciudad pues luego de hacer las fotografías, seguí mi camino previsto y no entré en la ciudad.
Ahora creo que quizá habría valido la pena, pero debía decidir i seguí la ruta prevista ya que mi esposa se enfada mucho si le cambio los planes que preparamos concienzudamente el día anterior.
Qué le vamos a hacer. Ya volveré.

I think I remember going on an excursion from my accommodation in Oviedo and I think that my destination for the day was Ribadeo, but on the way, the road I chose, passes through Luarca.
In principle my idea was to pass by and continue with my route, but at the top the road has excellent viewpoints where you can see the whole city including its port and beaches.
I had no choice but to stop to observe the magnificent views and I took a few minutes to photograph them.
Little else can I tell you about this city because after taking the photographs, I followed my planned path and did not enter in the city.
Now I think it might have been worth it, but I had to decide and I followed the planned route since my wife gets very angry if I change the plans we prepared conscientiously the day before.
What can we do. I'll be back.
