I enjoy including people in my outdoor/nature work as (sometimes) they make a scene more interesting and add a sense of scale. It is especially nice when they are posing without knowing they are posing and add an especially interesting comment to the photograph, like Darren is doing here.

The commentary in my image here is I found something interesting to shoot in front of me, but what is behind me that is holding Darren's interest? As for scale, this gives you a real good sense of these knee killing steps *smile*. Up behind Darren is Vernal Falls.
