Pingos are ice-cored hills up to 70 m (230 ft) high. They are typically conical in shape and grow and persist only in permafrost environments, such as the Arctic and subarctic. The Tuktoyaktuk peninsula area in Canada's Northwest Territories has the greatest concentration of pingos in the world.

At six months the Bennetts wallaby's joey leaves the pouch for the first time, but jumps back in at the first sign of danger. Being unsure what to make of the guy with the camera this joey decided to seek safety in the pouch . At eight to nine months they are too large for the pouch and stay out most the time.

The Tasmanian subspecies of the red necked wallaby is known as Bennett’s wallaby. Joey is a word that refers to a baby marsupial, particularly a young kangaroo or wallaby. At birth a joey is the size of a jellybean, blind and furless. They weigh under 1g (0.04oz) Following the birth, they make the climb up the stomach and into the pouch. Here the joey attaches to a teat where it will suckle while it grows. At six months it leaves the pouch for the first time, but jumps back in at the first sign of danger. At eight to nine months they are too large for the pouch and stay out most the time. Throughout their time in the pouch the milk changes gradually to suit the developmental needs of the growing joey. Once they are out of the pouch they may still place their head inside the pouch to suckle. They will remain with the mother out of the pouch for a further 4 to 5 months.
