Little Blue Heron (Egretta caerulea)
Transitioning from first-year white plumage to adult blue. I love this calico stage they go through. When I first started birding, and I saw this blue and white mottled heron, I couldn't figure out what it was :)
Interesting that this one has a blue beak, indicating breeding, but it is a first year bird.
