Just goofing around with a friend, a few kites and cameras and watching the sun go down on a beautiful summer evening.
Not all pictures turned out great but at least interesting.

Electra and the Waterwolf revisited.
The ground water level is really high again in our area of the Netherlands so I was hoping that the Waterwolf, one of the largest pumping stations of the Netherlands like the one in Lemmer, was active.
But it was not.
Bummer.
The wind was really fierce, around 5 to 7 bft, so the PFK Nighthawk was the only way to go.
And it loved it.
Long live the fresh nose! :)

So.
In between two meetings I passed by this parc that seems like an ideal crime scene for the X-Files or Bones to me. ;)
Very depressing scene, all together.
I had a 78" rok in the car and gave it a go.
Near no wind and only 30 mins. to kill.
The rok did great.
Which is very good news.
For people who know about my love/hate-relationship with my older rok. :)

The Witte Lam is a small poldermill that was built in 1860 by J. Mammen in Bedum, to replace an older mill of a different, less efficient design. The mill almost faced demolition in 1950, but was saved when the town decided to purchase the mill and restore it. The restoration work was completed in May 1968. Tweaking the picavet into the kite line. Nice little portrait. :)
