At the last minute, my friends Paul, Mike, Miguel, and I raced to the inner valley of California to escape the haze that was fast accumulating. We decided to settle in at this decommissioned nuclear power plant outside of Lodi. To get to it we had to walk through what Mike called the Geiger Family vineyard. Radioactive grapes were not a concern however as the sky cleared and the moon went into full eclipse.
