A year after travelling to sunny Melbourne for Arty's wedding, it was with equal enthusiasm that we set off to a slightly less clement London, for Ross'.

The wedding itself was in a small chapel at Dulwich College before heading on to a pleasant little tavern, a mile or so away. (Though not the one I suspect Dickens was referring to in Great Expectations).

The East Dulwich Tavern is a pub Ross and I would occasionally drink in, and it was delightful to be back somewhere so familiar to celebrate something so significant.

Music played, food was eaten, drinks were imbibed and a jolly good time seemed to be had by all. For all Ross' laconic remove, he can be an effortlessly sociable chap, which he puts his mind to it, and consequently has befriended many of my favourite people in London, many of whom put in an appearance.

In great company, and with many of my own contributions to the playlist booming out across the dancefloor, it was exactly the kind of party I'd want to throw for myself. More importantly, Ross and Bryony seemed to have a great time, with us all coming together to celebrate two such tremendous people finding one another.
