I'm running into paralysis of choice! I have a ton of images to post from all over my trip. Temples and Gundams to come. But for now we stay with the Shinkansen. I really liked how this shot came out. The blue to me is fantastic and the lines!!! What a beautiful train.

Wow! What can be said that hasn't been said about the Shinkansen? I loved everything about these trains. The sensation of speed was like flying, but you're on the ground! It's smooth and efficient, and they look good too. They have really good lines, and with the red lights, look a bit sinister. What's not to like! We took the Nozomi on the Tokaido Shinkansen line from Tokyo to Kyoto. Travel by rail is easily the best way to travel and this service shows why.
PS: this isn't my train. I ran around like a mad man taking as many photos of the various trains before catching mine. 16 cars is a lot!!!!!

Nippori was a fantastic area that my wife wanted to go to to get some cool fabrics. She succeeded in her goal and I found some fun shots. I saw this cute little scene and it was perfect. I had to take this photo. The yellow car and street colors were perfect and I wanted to see how it looked on E100. I have to say, I love how the yellow pops on this film, even more than any other color I feel.

Umbrellas waiting to be sold. This is the first pic from my Japan trip! There was just something I loved about this shot, the colors, the shapes. It's just so fun to me! I feel like child me would take this shot. I really hope you like and look forward to more images from Japan!
