This is the beautiful, ivy adorned, packhorse bridge spanning the Afon Machno. It is known as the Roman bridge although, apparently it seems to date only as far back as the 17th century. It is a truly magical place, most certainly home to fairies and other magical creatures.
As for the music, you've got a choice of two, both beautifully melancholic.

If you'd prefer something a little more dramatic for your Wednesday morning, watch this.
I have real fears for poor Lisa Gerrard, as for the pianist, he's toast!
It was never like this for Bobby Crush!

Sometimes more is less.
Driving back to the cottage and the sky lit up over Snowdonia. This is about 6 handheld shots, I didn't wait to get hold of the tripod. I've cropped it a few times for smaller sections but this is the uncropped version.

Well, this location needs little introduction. So many of you will have walked upon this spot and taken in the fabulous views of Tryfan and the Ogwen valley. The Afon Lloer was really going for it after the recent rainfall and criss-crossing the various outflows which would normally be easy, needed a little more care and attention (not to mention wellies).
Just thinking, if a mountain could be a person, Tryfan would be Brad Pit. 🤔
The title and the music chose itself for this one; it was either going to be ‘Light Pours Out’ or ‘Rays and Hail’. By strange coincidence both related to one of the best post punk bands ever; Magazine!
Rays and Hail was the name of the singles album covering the 3 years of their existence from 1978-81, Light Pours Out of Me, a single from the fabulous Real Life album.
