As the year rolls on, and the days get shorter, the deciduous trees start to prepare for the coming winter. Chlorophyll starts to break down in the leaves to reveal the glorious yellow and red pigments normally hidden away by the green chlorophyll.

This golden show however is only a fleeting one, as soon the leaves will fall to leave the branches bare for the cold winter months.

I know we all have busy lives, but safeguarding our ecosystems should be a priority to every single one of us, otherwise one day it may be too late.

I went down to the beach at dawn and the fog was thick and quite eerie, then suddenly the sun appeared above the waves.
The forecast today is for sunny and 41c on the coast!
