I still have many images from my Iceland trip last month yet to upload. This otherworldly landscape was seen along the truly epic gravel road to Þakgil. Along this road I honestly felt like I was driving on another planet - around every bend was another breathtaking viewpoint and there were many strange rock formations and sulphuric smells along the route. This was one of the viewpoints along the track, looking across the Múlakvísl river and black sands towards the inselberg of Hjörleifshöfði in the distance.
