A week hiking the Picos de Europa. After our tour of the Costa Verde, we joined a group to traverse the Picos de Europa. The Picos de Europa are a mountain range forming part of the Cantabrian Mountains in northern Spain.
Onur final day of hiking. Leaving Hotel Aliva, we climbed to the cable car at Rifugio del Cable, before a descent to Espinama.

On day 4, we climbed out of the Cares gorge into meadows and eventually to our refuge at the base of the Naranjo de Bulnes.

On day 5, left our refuge at the base of the Naranjo de Bulnes and climbed Horcados Rojos. After a coffee at Caban Veronica we descended to hotel Aliva.

On day 3, we left Refugio Vega de Ario and headed down to the Cares gorge. We spent the night at the hotel garganta del cares in Camermena. It was a long walk of about 30 km.
