EXPLORED!!! Highest position: 163 on Wednesday, October 7, 2009

Sunday has been great.

The full moon provided a splendid lighting, so after a lovely dinner with Alice (yesterday was her birthday)
I drove around to get some nice long exposures.
I would like to thank the 'anonimous driver" who made this image pop with his lights!

Weather is pretty bad these days, hope it gets better soon to try some other IR stuff.

The shot
I made some other attempts, but the lights make this my favourite.

The Processing

Photoshop:

- Switched to LAB mode and applied two curves to improve contrast and tones
- Back to RGB, added a vibrance layer to boost up minor tones
- Removed a burnt out area in the sky with the patch tool
- Created 2 Overlay layers to adjust light
- Used color balance tool to improve colors
- Run Neat Image to reduce Noise
- Lightened the reflection of my silhouette
- Added my 'logo' to the car using Vanishing Point
- Resized
- Sharpening (Smart Sharpen + more accurate)
- Framing and signature.

Take a look at it, LARGE on Black :
