The shot
First attempt with my 10 stop neutral density filter.
I know it's not perfect, but I don't have any experience on very long exposures.
271 seconds for this one.
The Processing
Photoshop:
- Straightened the horizon and cropped a little
- Converted to black and white using a b&w layer
- Created 5 Overlay layers to adjust light
- Used color balance tool to improve tints
- Raised contrast a little to make the white more punchy
- Resized
- Sharpening on the rocks only
- Framing and signature.
