One of the satellite galaxies of the Milky Way, the LMC is really big in the night sky of rural locations in the South Hemisphere.
The Tarantula nebula is visible as a cyan spot inside the LMC, this is a huge stellar nursery visible to the naked eye even when it's in another galaxy!
The bright star to the right is Achernar.
