What they do not tell you, and what we were shocked to discover, is that the liquid solution used to make bubbles...well, it's not water. It will leave a residue. On furniture. On carpet. On Polaroids.
It will also leave a residue on the car you've parked in front of, and have used your cheap bubble machine next to. It will leave a residue when the wind picks up the bubbles and plants them on nearby vehicles.
A visible residue, that, if you didn't know better, would seem to be caused by giant raindrops.
And if you did know better, would very obviously be caused by bubbles floating down and popping.
This photo is after all that, but before we realized what had happened...so we didn't bother waiting to see how it'd developed before making a hasty exit.
Photo turned out pretty good! And I can never go back to that neighborhood again!
