DSC_4658© Taken few minutes earlier than the image 4658. He obligingly went around the rose a few times before deciding to descend down the stem - which is when I removed him to the hedgerow!

The curved lines of droplets that form patterns instead of being randomly distributed indicate condensation from water vapor or mist i.e. dew, rather than rain. It was difficult to get this pin sharp.

This little beauty was munching a leaf on one of my rose plants. The two other images (4640 & 4541)capture him stretching out from this leaf to try to get to one above.
