Taken in my garden 3rd November, 2017. Pretty birds when seen up-close.
The humble house sparrow has lived around humans for centuries. Commonly found in city streets, taking handouts in parks, or cheeping from a perch on your roof or trees in your garden or back yard. They are absent from undisturbed forests and grasslands, but they’re common in countryside around farmsteads.
