Gentle waves of fog move in and around the pines of Yosemite Valley as the stars rose above the park on a dreamy winter night. This image is done in an opposite manner from my last image which was an effort to capture the light from cars as they passed through the fog lighting it like a river of molten fire. This one was much easier using just two shots to remove the light from cars. Though much later than my previous shot, the snow on Half Dome and El Capitan still shone brightly in the lingering alpine glow that just touched the clouds with a kiss of pinks. Bridalveil Fall seemed to glow against the dark granite cliff of Cathedral Rocks.
