I've been away a lot this year due to the health challenges of my daughter with Cerebral Palsy. I've been trying to make this a very Merry Christmas for her. Her middle name is Noelle and we will be celebrating her birthday in a few days. Christmas is like a healing balm to her. Merry Christmas to all my Flickr friends and HSoS!

Èvora, Portugal. This is a small interior chapel located next to the entrance of the Church of St. Francis. By the 16th century, there were as many as 43 cemeteries in and around Évora that were taking up valuable land. Not wanting to condemn the souls of the people buried there, the monks decided to build the Chapel and relocate the bones. It was kind of disturbing to be honest but fascinating nonetheless. HSoS!
