So, we finally made it back from our trip...fun filled, adventure packed, and quite tiring (the good kind of tired of course). Now if we only had time for a vacation after the vacation we would be set :-) This shot was taken early one morning in Monument Valley as the sun was rising above the mesas, casting some amazing light on the western facing rocks....a perfect way to start the day (not sure if it's my monitor or something quirky with flickr, but when I uploaded from my Mac to flickr, the rock in the front looks totally blown out).
In 11 short days, we managed to visit: Chaco Canyon, Mesa Verde, Monument Valley, the Valley of the Gods, Goosenecks State Park, Lake Powell, Lower Antelope Canyon, the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Waputki National Monument, Flagstaff & Sedona Arizona, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Homolovi Ruins State Park, Petrified Forest National Park, the Painted Desert, Acoma Pueblo, Santa Fe, Petroglyph National Monument, & the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.....what a blast!!!!!!
I have many more images to come from our trip, but unfortunately have to turn around and head out of town for a meeting tomorrow, so it will be later in the week before I manage to catch up with everyone.
