Double Arch is a famous close-set pair of natural arches—one of the more impressive features of Arches National Park in Utah, USA. Double Arch was formed differently than most of the arches in Arches National Park. It is what is known as a pothole arch; it formed by water erosion from above rather than more typical erosion from the side.

#5 of 5: Balanced Rock is one of the most popular features of Arches National Park, situated in Grand County, Utah, United States. The total height of Balanced Rock is about 128 feet (39 m), with the balanced rock rising 55 feet (16.75 m) above the base. The big rock on top is the size of three school buses. Until recently, Balanced Rock had a companion - a similar, but much smaller balanced rock named "Chip Off The Old Block", which fell during the winter of 1975/1976.

#4 of 5: Landscape Arch is the longest of the many natural rock arches located in Arches National Park in Utah. The arch is among many in the area known as Devil's Garden in the north area of the park. It was named by Frank Beckwith, leader of the Arches National Monument Scientific Expedition, who explored the area in the winter of 1933-1934. The Natural Arch and Bridge Society (NABS) considers Landscape Arch to be the longest natural arch in the world, having measured the span in 2004 at 290.1 ± 0.8 feet (88.4 m) which is slightly longer than a measurement made by the Society in 2006 of Kolob Arch in Zion National Park. Since 1991, three large slabs of sandstone measuring 30, 47, and 70 feet (9.1, 14, and 21 m) long have fallen from the thinnest section of Landscape Arch, forcing the Park Service to close the trail that once passed beneath it.

#3 of 5: Water and ice, extreme temperatures, and underground salt movement are responsible for the sculptured rock scenery of Turret Arch as well as the other arches located throughout Arches National Park.

#2 of 5: Park Avenue in Arches National Park consists of monolithic spires and ridges of rock standing isolated in largely flat terrain. These have been featured in several cinema films, most famously Thelma and Louise in 1991.
