My Nana Jean passed on March 28th while Walter and I were in Canada. I like to think that she was the one who gave me these beautiful beams of light. Her smile lit up the room and especially so when Walter brought her asparagus rolls. When we would visit, she would grab me by my face and tell me how she missed seeing it. Dear Nana, the sands of time may run and fade away, but the memory of you never will.

I find the hardest part about posting images is naming them. It seems I don't possess the mental acuity to form words that create an interrelation that best represents my vision. My husband on the other hand is brilliant with words, quick-witted, and thought provoking. When I asked for help naming this piece he took a long look and yelled out "Mother Birches". I laughed so hard. Now Walter loves movies so I know he pulled that quote from a movie. For all you movie buffs out there I will give you a hint. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith. Name that movie! (Told ya he was thought provoking)!
