I took photos of Hannah Rarity three times at Celtic Connections last year including her winning the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Final (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/albums/72157692106516464/ and www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/albums/72157692175206141). I was surprised to see that her accompanist at this gig was Ewan Robertson,who was in England for gigs with Breabach. Rarity sang compositions by Brian McNeill, Davy Steele and Andy M. Stewart and two of her own, as well as traditional ones including an unaccompahied "MacCrimmon;s Lament".
