Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club opened in its first venue in Gerrard Streeet in October 1959. Among the events to celebrate sixty years was a steet partty on a Satueday afternoon inits new home of Frith Street.

Pee Wee Ellis was born in Bradenton, FL and brought up there, in Lubbock, TX and Rochester, NY. In the 1980s he was part of the James Brown Revue and in the 1990s with other former members created the JB Horns. He has also spent many years workin with Van Morrison. He lives inthe UK and plays in this band with local musicians.
