Lineup: Mick Moloney (v/tenor banjo/bouzouki), Robbie O'Connell (v/g), Billy McComiskey (button accordion), Liz Hanley (v/fiddle), Athena Tergis (fiddle), Brenda Castles (concertina), Brendan Dolan (p/flute), Niall O'Leary (dancer/spoons), [probably] Darrah Carr (dancer) and guests: Donnchadh Gough (bodhrán), John Doyle (g).

Mick Moloney originally from Limerick moved to Philadelphia in 1973 to study folklore at the University of Pennyslavania. He was then commissioned by the Smithsonian Institution to locate the best Irish musicians and dancers in the USA to perform at the Bicentennial Festival of American Folklife in Washington D.C in 1976. Funding was then gained for a tour of the USA under the name of the traditional tune and song "The Green Fields of America". Over the following 40 year many more tours followed, and lots of musicians who have been part of the group have then gone on to successful musical careers.
