The theme of the Sunday of the two day festival was Women and Activism (celebrating various anniversaries including a century since British women gained the right to vote).
The main venue for the festival is the Abbey Ruins (Barking Abbey was demolished after the dissolution in the 16th century). In this photo Stick in the Wheel are on stage.

This banner made by three artists from Barking and Dagenham, Khushnood Ahmed, Susanna Wallis and Rachel Stubb,s features some events and people from the century, including the Ford Dagenham sewing machinists strike in 1968.
