Carminho from Lisbon released her first album of Fados in 2009. I saw her live in 2011 at Kings Place. Her second album in 2012 included two tracks by modern Brazilian songwriters. She was then approached by Paulo Jobim to record an album of songs by his father Antonio Carlos "Tom" Jobim. "Carminho Canta Tom Jobim" was released in 2016 and this concert was part of an international tour to promote it (although the performance . also included some Fados). The rest of the band were Daniel Jobim (Tom's grandson), Paulo Braga (a regular collaborator with Tom and now part of the Jobim Trio with Paulo and Daniel Jobim) and Jaques Morelenbaum (who also worked with Tom and with Paulo and Daniel in the Quarteto Jobim Morelenbaum).
