Country: Haiti (British resident) & Britain. Style: Haitian, American and British Folk & other styles.

Lineup: Germa Adan (v/violin/g/banjo ukulele), Mae [Mahaliah] Edwards (violln/v).

Germa Adan was born in Les Cayes, Haiti. She moved to the USA when she was 6, and stayed for over 15 years (living in Minnesota, Kansas City and Florida). She came to the UK to study at the University of York, and now lives in Birmingham. Last year she was awarded EFDSS Creative Seed Funding to write and arrange songs that explore narratives of the diasporic life. Here she performed with Mae Edwards who is studying at Birmingham Conservatoire.
