C.C. Adcock from Lafayette, LA had slints performing with Bo Diddley and Buckwheat Zydeco and recorded his first album in 1994 (only one more since in 2004 though apparently another is coming). On this visit to the UK he was joined by long term accompanists Jason Burns and Chriss Hunter, plus Curley Taylor from Sunset, LA who normaly leads his own Zydeco band. I have seen Adcock before with Lafayette Marquis at the Borderline in 2005, twice with Lil' Band o' Gold in New Orleans in 2007 and 2011 (for photos of the latter see www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/sets/72157626858611340/), plus a short guest appearance with James McMurtry at the Luminaire in 2009.
