6th May 2017 at the Fair Grounds Race Course (Jazz & Heritage Stage), New Orleans, USA.

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, www.nojazzfest.com/.

Country: United States - New Orleans. Style: New Orleans style Brass Band.

Lineup: Christie A. Jourdain (snare drum), Veronique Dorsey (trumpet/percussion), Dionne Harrison (trombone), Natasha "Saxy Lady" Harris (tenor sax/percussion), Dee Holmes (sousaphone) and guests: Little Dee (bass drum), Anjelika "Jelly" Joseph (v), Kashonda Bailey (keyboard).and another drummer [name not known].

This female Brass Band was formed in 1991 by school students at St. Mary’s Academy High School with the help of the school's band instructor Jeffrey Herbert (of the Pinstripe Brass Band, hence the name). Joudain (now the band leader) and Holmes were in the original band. When Katrina scattered the band before a gradual return to New Orleans, two different versions of the Pinettes emerged. Which is why this one added Original to its name. Seems like the band is finding recruiting new members harder in recent years as they have had a male bass drummer for a while.
