19th January 2019 at the Royal Concert Hall (Strathclyde Suite), Glasgow.

Celtic Connections Festival, www.celticconnections.com/.

Country: Britain - Scotland. Style: Traditional Scottish Folk.

Lineup:. John Morran (v/g). Finlay MacDonald (highland bagpipes/low whistle), Clare McLaughlin (fiddle), Jenna Reid (fiddle), Malcolm Stitt (bouzouki), Mark Maguire (bodhrán/tenor drum) and guests: Rory Campbell (highland bagpipes/low whistle), Marianne Campbell (fiddle).

This was a rare live performance by Deaf Shepherd to celebrate 25 years since the band began. The first versions date back to 1992. Two years later the lineup had stabalised to include John Morran, Clare McLaughlin and Malcolm Stitt (all still member today) and brother and sister Rory Campbell and Marianne Campbell (then Curran), who left in 2003 but were back as guests. I have photographed several of the musicans (Finlay MacDonald, Jenna Reid, Malcolm Stitt and Mark Maguire) with other lineups. To view click on the name of the musician in My Tags.
