9th August (midday) 2018 at Ham Marquee, Sidmouth.

Sidmouth Folk Week.

Country: Britain. Style: Traditional English Folk / Ska / Jazz.

Lineup: Saul Rose (melodeon), Simon Care (melodeon), Heather Bell (keyboard/dancer), Matt Price (g), Kieran Szifris (mandola), Brian Bell (bass g), John Hirst (d), Stuart Finden (tenor sax), Fiona Finden (tenor sax/soprano sax).

This Ceilidh Band from Northumberland was formed in 1997, and blend Folk with a variety of other musical styles. Brian Bell was one of the founder members. Only Heather Bell, Stuart Finden, Fiona Finden [Littlewood] and him were in the version I saw at Towersey in 2005. For this gig they brought back former member Simon Care, and Seth Tinsley and Mike Coleman were absent and replaced by Matt Price and Kieran Szifris. I have taken more photos of Rose with several other groups (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/saulrose,-whapweasel/) and Care with Banter (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/simoncare,-whapwea...).
In this photo: Rose plays a Castagnari Melodeon.
