Berkeley Old Time Music Convention (annual event), www.berkeleyoldtimemusic.org/.
This was the 15th Berkeley Old Time Music Convention. In the 1960s for several years there was a String Band competition in Provo Park. In 2003 Suzy Thompso, encouraged by the Farmerws Market, brought this back in what had by then been renamed Civic Center Park. The next year she added a concert at the Freight & Salvage and a dance at Ashkenaz. These events and plenty of jams and workshops make up what is now a five day festival.
