Born in Crumlin, Dublin, Daoirí Farrell is also a member of a band Four Winds. He performed songs learnt from Christy Mooore, Paul Brady, Nic Jones, Eddie Furey, Frank Hart, Cathal McConnell and Thomas McCarthy. Mostly traditional plus a few recent compositions, including ones by Liam Weldon, John Doyle, Paul Metsers and Marcus Turner ("The Ballad of Fergie McCormick").
