21st April 2018 at the Irish Cultural Centre, Hammersmith, London W6.
Country: Ireland - North. Style: Traditional Irish Folk & (mostly) own tunes.
Lineup: Brian Finnegan (whistles/flute), Sarah Allen (flute/piano accordion), Ed Boyd (g), John Joe Kelly (bodhrán).
The band started out in 1996, the name a word play on having three flute players. They soon dropped down to two (and these days Brian Finnegan nearly always plays whistles). This was the third time I had seen them live, the others were in 1997 and 2004 (the band took a break between 2006 and 2013). I have taken photos of three of them before, Sarah Allen with Kathryn Locke (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/sarahallen,-flook/) and Ed Boyd and John Joe Kelly with several different bands (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/edboyd,-flook/ and www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/johnjoekelly,-flook/).
