The Cajun Roosters were formed just over a decade ago (this trio is a slimmed down version of the band - without the rhythm section). It brought together two British and three German musicians. Of these only two are still in the band today. The new recruits are from Britain, Belgium and France. Accordionist Chris Hall was a major figure in developing a Cajun / Zydeco scene in the UK as part of R. Cajun (from 1979) and the Bearcats (from 1991), amongst other bands.
