25th (or rather early hours of 26th) January 2015 at the Art School, Glasgow.

Festival Club, Celtic Connections Festival, www.celticconnections.com/.

Country: Britain - Scotland. Style: Traditional Scottish Folk.

Lineup: Adam Sutherland (fiddle), Hamish Napier (keyboard), Marc Clement (g), John Paul Spiers (b), Iain Copeland (d), Steve Forman (percussion).

Adam Sutherland from Errogie in Inverness-shire has been a member of many bands. Now he has released an album under his own name which also featured Marc Clement, John Paul Spiers and Iain Copeland. Also added for this gig were Hamish Napier and Steve Forman (originally from Arizona were he played classical music, then a long time pop/rock session musician in Los Angeles, then coming to Glasgow in 2008 to study for a Ph.D. where he has immersed himself in the traditional music scene, and currently fighting Home Office attempts to deport him). I've taken photos of Sutherland with the Treacherous Orchestra, Session A9 (with Clement), Babelfish (with Copeland), and the Flying Ducks (regulars from a session at the bar of this name). To view click on the musician’s name in my tags.
