Lineup: Jody Kruskal (v/concertina).

Jody Kruskal is from Chicago and has lived in Brooklyn for many years. His interested in the concertina came via his brother who played Morris tunes. Mixing this with his own interested in old time music, he has learnt how to make his concertina sound like a string band. As well as doing concerts he plays with contra dance groups and accompanies a sword team. At this gig he played songs associated with Uncle Dave Macon, Dillard Chandler, Tommy Jarrell, Peggy Seeger, Frank Crumit, and from the Adirondack mountains and Texas as well as the Appalachians.
