23rd (or rather early hours of 24th) January 2015 at the Royal Concert Hall (Exhibition Hall), Glasgow.

Late Night Sessions, Celtic Connections Festival, www.celticconnections.com/.
Every year Celtic Connections features performers from a chosen country who appear at a Showcase event, some of the evening concerts (usually as the support) and the Festival Club and Late Night sessions. In 2015 it was New Zealand, and all together I saw 5 of the 6 chosen acts.

Country: New Zealand. Style: Traditional Maori / Western Fusion.

Lineup: Horomona Horo (flutes/trumpets), Joshua Rogers (g), Korey Atama (percussion).

Waoira is a collaboration between Horomona Horo playing Taonga Puoro (traditional Maori instruments) and Joshua Rogers playing classical guitar. I saw them at both the Mitchell Theatre and the Late Night Sessions at the Royal Concert Hall, and the photos in this set are from both.
More information: www.horomonahoro.com/, www.facebook.com/waioramaorimusic.
