Country: Afghanistan. Style: Traditional Afghan music.

Lineup: harmonium, rubab, ghichak, violin, oboe and tabla players.

This group consisted of 6 students aged between 11 and 17 at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music playing a combination of Afghan/South Asian and Western instruments. Rather than being a regular group, they were brought together for this tour. The Institute, based in Kabul, was inaugurated in 2010, arising out of a project to revive Afghan music.
