The St Patrick’s Troupe is part of Meitheal Cheoil (a North London group promoting Traditional Irish Music) and is made up of almost 50 young musicians, singers and dancers from which this smaller group was drawn.

Gillebride MacMillan is from South Uist and Alasdair Roberts from Stirling (both now live in Glasgow). MacMillan won the Mod Traditional Gold Medal in 2000 and the national Medal in 2004. For most of the set Macmillan did the singing, apart from two by Roberts (one tradition, one his own composition).
