The New Orleans Klezmer All Stars have been around since 1991. They play a unique mixture of Klezmer and New Orleans Funk. Hartman, Freilich and Rebeck are long standing members. When I first saw them in 1999 they also included Galactic’s Ben Ellman. For this gig the lineup included Stanton Moore (also of Galactic), Matt Perrine (of the Nightcrawlers and numerous other bands) and Joe Cabral (of the Iguanas). The only other photos I’ve taken of these musicians are of Perrine with the Nightcrawlers (2011 and 2014) and Jon Cleary (2010); Moore with the his own band (2014) and Cabral with the Iguanas (2014).
