11th April 2014 at King and Queen, London W1.

Musical Traditions Folk Club, www.englishfolkinfo.org.uk/mustrad/mtc.html.

Country: Britain. Style: Traditional English Folk & other styles.

Lineup: Fi Fraser (v/fiddle/clarinet), Jo Freya (v/soprano sax/tenor sax/clarinet/low whistle), Jo May (cajón/drum).

The sisters were joined for much of the evening by Jo May, who plays with them in Token Women. The music ranged from traditional ballads to humorous songs to Swedish and French tunes. I've seen the two of them performing together before with Coope, Simpson, Fraser, Freya in 2011 and the Old Swan Band in 2005. I took photos of Jo with Blowzabella at the Grand Bal de Bath 2011: www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/sets/72157628096366566/.
