Ducan Chisholm is from Kirkhill, near Iverness. He has played with the groups Wolfstone (plus a duo with bandmate Ivan Drever), Blazin’ Fiddles and Session A9, and is currently part of Julie Fowlis’ band. This is the first time I’ve taken photos of him, unlike the other two musicians he was performing with (for photos of them: click on the tag of their names). The tunes were mostly his own compositions, drawn from a trio of albums decidated to the glens of his home area.
