These three musicians (from Manchester, North Lanarkshire and Dublin) are regulars in the Transatlantic sessions band, including the last four years in a row. This has led to them now touring as a trio. They are all performers I’ve numerous times before: including McGoldrick with his own band, Capercallie, Moonlighting, a McCusker band and Kate Rusby, McCusker with own band (including the “Under One Sky” tour), the Battlefield Band, Heidi Talbot, Kate Rusby and Julie Fowlis, and Doyle with Solas, Moonlighting, Liz Carroll and Tim O’Brien. However whilst I’ve previously taken photos of McGoldrick and Doyle (to view click on the tags of their names), these are my first shots of McCusker.
