Sharon Shannon is from Ruàn, Co. Clare and now lives in Letterfrack, Co. Galway. Whilst she always includes traditional tunes in her performances, she regularly adds non-standardl instruments and songs from other musical styles. This time she was accompanied by keyboard player/electric guitarist (sometimes playing both through looping) and there were Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler songs and tunes from Portugal and Finland. The lack of a fiddle player in the lineup meant she played a bit of 5-string Fiddle as well as Accordion and Whistle.
