Lineup: John Baily (rubab/dutar), Veronica Doubleday (v/daireh).

This duo are both academics who specialise in Afghan music (he is Head of the Afghanistan Music Unit at Goldsmiths College). They play both Folk (especially from Herat where they undertook fieldwork in the 1970s) and Classical music. Baily plays the Rubab and the Herati Dutar. Doubleday plays the Daireh and sings in Dari (Afghan Persian).
