Songs of Struggle was part of the “red thread” running through this year's Celtic Connections. The theme was solidarity through song. It was put together by FairPley which organise events for the labour and non-profit-making sector (a similar event was held during last year’s Edinburgh Fringe).

The various performers had their own individual spots and came together for ensemble numbers. Seen in this photo during one of the latter are (left to right): Stephen Wright, Dave Anderson, Sheena Wellington, Siobhan Miller, Alastair McDonald.
