Ann Savoy and Jane Vidrine released an album under the name Magnolia Sisters in 1995. The project evolved into a band which currently includes them and Anya Burgess and Lisa Trahan Reed. Trahan is the only one of the four born and raised in Louisiana (Scott, LA). The others are originally from Virginia, Missouri and Massachusetts and married men from Louisiana (all musicians). Regular bass player Trahan was absent from this gig and replaced by Gavin Lewery on drums. He is a member of numerous British Cajun and Zydeco bands including the Flatville Aces, with whom he mostly plays accordion.
